Death Never Dies: Mourning 2020. Edited and Illustrated by Lee Fearnside
This anthology mourns and celebrates 26 public figures who died in 2020. From RBG to John Lewis, George Floyd to Alex Trebeck, Kobe Bryant to Sean Connery, these people changed our lives. Some may have been celebrities for decades, while others found international attention through their deaths, but all shaped our perception of our world. 39 writers, including 17 BIPOC writers, contributed poetry and prose tributes, and I created relief print portraits. Together, these works help us understand our relationships to each other and to ourselves during this tumultuous year.
